REQUIREMENTS
Silverstack with Silverstack Library Sync Alpha only works in combination with the ShotHub Alpha server. Here is what you need to get started:
- Download the alpha version Silverstack or Silverstack Lab with Library Sync
- Add your Pomfort Account in the Silverstack preferences and activate the Library Sync for a project
- Optional:login to the ShotHub Alpha server with your Pomfort Account
- Sync your first project with ShotHub: Sync Silverstack Libraries via ShotHub to see the synced Silverstack Library in ShotHub
NOTE: You don’t need a paid user plan for ShotHub as the sync feature is also supported with the free plan.
SYNC FEATURES
Syncing your Silverstack project via ShotHub to another instances of Silverstack includes:
- Complete library with all folders and bins
- All clips, sidecars and documents
- General Info with metadata
- User Info with slate and rating information
- File Info with overview of file resources
- Summary showing statistics and details
- Look info and grading information
- Thumbnails (if checked when syncing)
- Cue points and synced audio
- Audio Panel adjustments
LIMITATIONS
Syncing your Silverstack project via ShotHub to another instances of Silverstack does not include:
- Project Settings including:
- Folder Structure
- Smart Folders
- Transcoding Presets
- Copy Job Templates
- Table View Presets
- Format Options
- Labels and Custom Field Labels (Shown in ShotHub as initially synced when cloud project was created)
- Job View
- Look Library
- Header Information
- Verification State
- Dynamic metadata
KNOWN ISSUES
Library Sync does not support:
- Grading Node RGB Curves in “luma-based” mode
- Source metadata of transcoded clips
- Grading Mode “Alexa Looks” (legacy mode)
LIMITATIONS OF THE ALPHA VERSION:
Some features of Silverstack are disabled in the alpha version:
- Import of Silverstack Library Archive (psla)
- Unregister bins or folders
