Grade controls
As you probably already noticed: the grade controls pretty much stayed like they have been in previous Livegrade versions. This should give you the confidence that everything in the look behaves exactly like it did before.
However, one thing is new: the node list is the place to control, edit, and access the single parts of your look.
Node List
Let’s take a closer look at the node list:

Node list
It consists of the following elements:
- Node name: identifies a certain node, should be unique and can be edited via [Edit Node List] which can be found in the ellipsis (…) menu.
- Look name: will be stored with a created clip, still and look preset
- Selected node: a blue border around a node shows you, that this node is currently shown
- Controller: indicates that this node will be adjusted by an attached controller
- Node type: the badge shows you the type of the node
- Adjustments: a color wheel indicates that the node contains changes
- Save: updates the loaded shot in the library
- Quick link node: links/unlinks the selected node to all slots of the same slot type, e.g. to quickly link/unlink all input slots.
- Ellipsis (…) menu: gives you options to edit the node list or reset the look
- Enable/Disable node: click on the Type badge on the left of a node to enable or disable it
- Link: indicates that the node is currently linked to nodes in other slots
In the Look menu, you will find the following useful menu items:
- [Switch to Previous/Next Look Node]
- [Enable/Disable Selected Node]
To copy your look to other slots, go to the Slots menu and select [Copy/Paste Filter Settings].
Tip: Switching the slot always selects the last selected node of a slot. You can change that behaviour in the menu via Look > Switching Slot Selects
Use [Last Selected Node] for the default behaviour
Use [Same Node] to always select the node with the same type and name
